When we first walked up to this spot on the beach, I’ll be honest, it wasn’t what most people would call ideal. It wasn’t the postcard-perfect shoreline. It was a sandy path, a little uneven, surrounded by grasses and rope fencing… the kind of place many would overlook.
But Madalyn? She didn’t hesitate.
She stepped right into it with this effortless confidence and openness that photographers dream about. No complaints, no second-guessing—just trust. And that right there is where the magic started.
Because here’s the truth:
It’s never just about the location. It’s about the energy brought into it.
And she brought everything.

Now let’s talk about that backlight… because whew.
The sun sat behind her like it knew it had a job to do. It wrapped around her hair, kissed the edges of her dress, and created this soft, glowing halo that felt almost cinematic.
Every movement she made every turn, every step, every little shift caught that light in a new way. The wind picked up just enough to give life to the dress, and suddenly this “ordinary” beach path turned into something straight out of a dream.
And when we leaned into black and white?
Completely different mood… same level of breathtaking.
Timeless. Emotional. Strong.
