Not every person or photographer knows how to take a good headshot, but does this mean you should consider retaking yours?
There are a few reasons why people end up hating their headshots. The first is because you can't get your cellphone at a good angle or the photographer was rushed. Mini sessions are affordable and convenient, but in the hands of the wrong photographer, you can end up with poor-quality images.
The second reason is that the photographer never took the time to get to know the person in front of the camera. It doesn’t take a lot to ask a few questions to better understand the kind of headshots a client needs.
Lastly, it’s because the photographer didn’t take the time to explain the basics of the session. When you don’t love having your photo taken, it helps to receive some guidance to help you feel more comfortable.
